Michael Romero is a programmer and educator with over 15 years of experience in web development, game development, and technology instruction across Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
He specializes in helping students understand complex technical concepts through hands-on learning, emphasizing creation and exploration. By building their own games and interactive projects, students develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence while gaining a deeper understanding of how technology works.
Michael also has experience working with students with diverse learning styles, including students on the autism spectrum, and focuses on creating patient, adaptable learning environments where each student can progress at their own pace. He has helped hundreds of students build real games, websites, and technical confidence that carries into college and careers.

One-on-one coaching is $40/hour. Small group sessions are $25/hour per student. Workshops and custom programs are quoted based on scope, schedule, and group size.
No experience is needed. Programs are designed to start from the very beginning and build up at the student's own pace — complete beginners are always welcome.
Yes. Sessions can be held online via Zoom in addition to in-person options, making it easy to learn from anywhere.
Yes. One-on-one coaching is fully tailored to each student's pace, learning style, and individual needs — including students with special learning needs.
1.5 hours twice a week is the general recommendation for steady progress. For one-on-one students, scheduling is flexible. Group session timing can also be worked out flexibly as long as it works for all members.
In-person sessions are held at local libraries, community centers, or a student's home. Online sessions via Zoom are always an option as well.
All ages are welcome. The instructor has extensive experience teaching younger students — particularly the junior high range — and also loves working with adults on more complex topics and projects.
